A group of unknown hackers have released a jailbreak tool for iOS 8.1.2 to iOS 8.0 for Mac users. PP Jailbreak is an untethered jailbreak, and supports following devices. Here is a piece of good news for those who have been waiting for a Mac version to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2. A new jailbreak tool, PP Jailbreak, developed by Chinese jailbreakers has been released for support of Mac OS X to perform jailbreak on devices running iOS 8-iOS 8.1.2. Last November, the Chinese jailbreak developer team, TaiG, released an untethered jailbreak for iOS 8.1.1 - iOS iOS 8.1; it also supports iOS 8.2 beta. While the initial release was for the Windows version only, the TaiG team is working on a Mac version of their jailbreak tool. Meanwhile, an unidentified jailbreak developer team has confirmed that availability of their PP Jailbreak for Mac. Several users on Reddit have confirmed this jailbreak tool works fine.

- Download PP jailbreak
- Open the DMG file you downloaded in Step 1. This will mount it as a volume.
- Drag and drop the PP越狱.app to the Applications folder
- Double click to launch PP越狱.app from the Applications folder
- Disable Find My iPhone, and system passcode on your iPhone or iPad
- Enable Airplane Mode
- Connect your iOS device to your Mac using a USB cable
- You will see a pp checkbox in the bottom left corner. Unmark it.
- Once all this is done, and PP recognize’s your device: click the main button in the middle to jailbreak your iOS device
